30,600 upcycled plastic bottles
Materials matter. The fabric from each jacket was made from 18 upcycled plastic bottles, amounting to nearly 31k bottles with this order for the whole company.
This jacket was sourced from Storm Creek, a woman-owned business that donates 1% of its revenue to environmental nonprofits, including the National Park Foundation and Save the Boundary Waters. With a goal of donating $5 million to charity by 2030, Storm Creek is making a real impact. Learn more about this incredible company here. -
11,210 patches and counting!
Our Braze milestone program patches are sourced from a woman, veteran, and LGBTQI-owned company. The thread used for embroidery is made from upcycled bottles, helping Braze divert 700 plastic bottles from landfills and waterways. Additionally, 3% of Outpatch’s revenue is donated to a rotating list of nonprofit partners. Learn more about how Outpatch is making an impact here.
These patches are a great way to repurpose old merchandise or add flair to items like water bottles, jackets, notebooks, and more.
Check out some more ways to make an impact with your Braze swag by…
Reuse: If you have swag from a previous company, or you want to reinvent an item you have at home for a fresh, new look, the Braze patches are a great way to do that! Add a patch to any item: notebooks, hats, waterbottles. Be as creative as you want with this. For more inspiration, check out Blueprint DIY on Youtube.
Recycling: This one requires a bit of research to understand your local recycling guidelines. This video gives a simple overview of recycling, and how to sort. You can also explore options in your country, or local areas. In the US, there are companies such as For Days, and Terre Cycle that support recycling.
Reduce: Nearly 400 pounds Waste diverted from landfill. Not everyone wants swag, and we want to make it easy to opt-out in order to avoid waste. We measure opt-outs and waste diverted on our New Hire swag. From the start of our new hire gifting program until this report was pulled (January 2023 - September 2024), we avoided nearly 400 pounds of waste by allowing New Hires to opt-out of redeeming a New Hire kit.
